The Hotel Arts Barcelona hosted last night the second edition of the charity gala “A Night to Dream”, organized by Marriott International’s Business Councils in Spain, in support of the Xana Foundation and Mil y Un Sueños.

Marriott International’s Business Councils are groups formed by representatives from the company’s hotels around the world, whose mission is to contribute to their local communities through charitable initiatives in collaboration with more than 50 international non-profit organizations and hundreds of local charities.

The gala, attended by 500 guests, was hosted by journalist Helena Garcia Melero and also featured a performance by singer-songwriter Joan Dausà, who delivered one of the most emotional moments of the evening by performing several songs from his repertoire, including “Xana”, the song he wrote in tribute to Xana Martínez Cullell.

The gala raised a total of €113,737, which will be entirely allocated to helping children suffering from serious illnesses, as well as their families, through the Xana Foundation and Mil y Un Sueños.
