The Fundación Xana has signed a collaboration agreement with the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital to improve comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children hospitalized with serious illnesses and to offer enhanced support to their families.
Approved on October 28th, this collaboration officially started last week after finalizing the referral circuits between teams. This structured framework ensures that families in need receive agile and effective access to all available resources.
Under this agreement, the Fundación Xana becomes a partner entity of the public hospital, providing support to families referred by the Social Work service. This support includes financial aid, accommodation and emotional guidance, aiming to reduce the social, emotional, and logistical impact of facing a child’s serious illness

Through this alliance, both organizations join forces to provide better care, consolidating a model that puts children and their families at the heart of everything.
